Hi everyone. I've been following the case of Daniel James Dewey, and something that's been nagging at me is that he left his glasses at home. I wear glasses myself and can't imagine leaving the house without them, especially if I knew I’d be walking around outside. It makes me wonder if he was planning to return home quickly or if something happened that caused him to leave abruptly. Meniere's disease can be disorienting, especially without corrective lenses, which could mean he got lost easily. Has anyone else thought about the implications of him leaving his glasses behind? It just seems significant to me given his vulnerability.
