Did anyone else catch the bit about the surveillance video showing Santiago being chased into his friend's apartment? I've been thinking about how terrifying those last moments must've been for him. Imagine the panic of trying to find safety and then realizing that it wasn't enough. It’s truly chilling to think about someone being put in a position where they believe they’re finally safe, only for tragedy to strike. My thoughts go out to Santiago's family and friends who have to relive that horror whenever new details emerge. I hope justice is served for Santiago. This case is a reminder of how quickly life can change and how much harm misguided accusations can cause.
