I keep thinking about how many lives changed forever that night. Though I didn't know Mariano Salazar personally, hearing from those who did paints a picture of a young man who truly had a zest for life. It's painful to see someone so full of promise caught in such a tragic situation. As we talk about what happened, have any of you come across more information about the white sedan witnesses mentioned? The car seems like a crucial lead. People on the streets at that time must have seen or heard something. It's hard to comprehend how quickly things spiraled, and my heart goes out to Mariano's family and friends as they search for answers and healing. Hopefully, we can keep his memory alive by seeking justice and understanding for what happened.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the situation around Mariano Salazar's tragic death, and something that’s really sticking with me is the presence of firearms among teenagers in that area. It breaks my heart to see how easily accessible guns seem to have been for these young kids. It's scary to think that Mariano might have had more of his life ahead if guns hadn’t been so readily available. His mom’s grief and frustration over this really hit home. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child and feeling like things could have been different if the circumstances were just a bit safer. It’s clear there’s a larger issue at play here with kids and gun access. I hope there’s a community effort or something similar to address this—it just feels like no parent should have to go through what Mariano’s family is enduring. Does anyone else have thoughts or insights into what can be done to make our communities safer for teenagers? This case has really opened my eyes to how complicated and deep-rooted this problem is. Sending love to everyone, and especially to Mariano’s family and friends.
