It's truly devastating to think about Rachel's friends and colleagues who were likely just starting their day when this tragic event unfolded right outside their workplace. I can't imagine how traumatic it must have been for them to witness this loss so unexpectedly. It's important for them to have support and counseling during this tough time. Does anyone know if any local groups or organizations are stepping up to help those affected by this tragedy? It would also be incredible if there were initiatives to raise awareness about domestic violence in the workplace to help prevent something like this from happening again.

I've been following the tragic incident involving Rachel Ruiz-Izquierdo, and something that's been on my mind is the role of bystanders in situations like this. It’s horrible to think about what her friend, who drove her to work that day, might be going through now. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and trauma of witnessing such an event. I hope they have access to support and counseling to help them process what happened. It seems like a stark reminder of how these violent encounters ripple out, affecting more than just the immediate victims. Do any of you have thoughts on how we can better support individuals who find themselves unwillingly dragged into such tragedies?
