Hey everyone. I've been following Deewayne Edwards's case for a while now, and I just can't stop thinking about the community support that's rallied around his family. The GoFundMe organized for his funeral expenses shows just how much he was loved and what a significant impact he had on those around him. It's truly a testament to the kind of person Deewayne was and the strong connections he formed in his short time with us. It's painful to see his family go through this, but I hope they find some solace in knowing how many people care and are standing with them during such a tough time. If anyone out there has new information about what happened, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Deewayne and his family deserve answers and closure.
I was just thinking about how much Deewayne loved dancing to King Von and Chief Keef. It's so hard to imagine someone with such a love for life and music could be gone in the blink of an eye. Those moments when he'd break into dance probably brought so much joy to the people around him. I didn’t know him personally, but from everything I’ve read, it sounds like he was really someone who brightened a room with his humor and energy. It’s just heartbreaking that his dreams of playing football for UNLV and becoming a chiropractor won’t be realized.
I really hope the North Las Vegas community can help bring justice to his family. If anyone knows something, no matter how small, it could make a huge difference.
