I still can't wrap my head around how senseless this all is. I can't imagine what Brittani's family and friends are going through right now. My heart goes out to them. I've been thinking a lot about Dandre Owens' behavior in the surveillance footage. It just seems so cold and detached, the way he leaves the room so quickly after going in with her. But what I find particularly curious is his claim about finding her social security card and the gun in the desert. It just sounds so implausible. Plus, how does he explain the presence of her ID in his wallet if he's claiming he found it somewhere else? The whole story just doesn't add up for me. Hopefully, the upcoming court case will bring some clarity and justice for Brittani. Until then, I'm just holding out hope for some answers for her loved ones.
