Hi everyone, I've been following the Samuel Abate Balcha case closely and something that's been bugging me is the timeline of when his murder actually took place. I read that police think he might have been killed on December 30, 2008, but he was found on January 1, 2009. That's a two-day window right around the New Year, which makes me wonder if the timing was significant in some way. Perhaps whoever was responsible thought they could blend in with the celebrations and remain unnoticed? It's so tragic to think of Samuel, so far from home, being taken in such a senseless way. Just trying to make a better life for himself, studying and working hard, like so many do. It makes the lack of progress on the case even more frustrating. I really hope that someday soon there will be some breakthroughs. Maybe someone remembers something that seemed insignificant at the time but could be a key piece of the puzzle now. Does anyone else have any thoughts about the timing? Was it coincidence, or maybe part of the perpetrator's plan to avoid detection? Stay safe, everyone.
