I’ve been following the case of Terrell Eshawn McIntyre, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on his children, Brandon and Tavarius. Losing their father in such a tragic way must be incredibly difficult, especially knowing it was at the hands of a family member. It’s hard to comprehend how someone can do that to their own cousin. This must be so tough for them and for the family to navigate. I hope they have a strong support system to lean on during this difficult time. Does anyone know if there are resources or community support groups in Minneapolis that might help children who’ve lost a parent to violence? Just thinking about how important it is for them to have a space to express their feelings and begin to heal.
