Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Alexis Rae Rodriguez, and I can't get over how much this has affected those who knew her and the community as a whole. Something that really stood out to me was the beautiful way the community has come together to honor her memory. Hundreds of candles have been lit in tribute, which to me, shows just how much she was loved and how deeply her loss is felt. I didn’t know Alexis personally, but it’s clear that she had a powerful spirit, fitting of her name "Manidoo Ikwe" or "Spirit Woman." The phrase itself feels so poignant now, capturing the essence of someone whose presence brought warmth and light to others. It’s devastating to think about her children growing up without their mom. I hope that the community's support provides some comfort to her family. Also, the fact that no arrests have been made is really concerning. I really hope the investigation finds the answers that Alexis and her family deserve. Warm thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by this tragedy. Stay safe out there.

I’ve been following the case of Alexis "Dud" Rae Rodriquez, and it’s just so difficult to fathom the pain her loved ones must be feeling right now. What especially struck me was the outpouring at her wake and how the community is rallying to keep her memory alive with the candlelight vigils. It says a lot about how cherished she was by those who knew her. Knowing that those who attended the wake at Inger Community Center came together like this shows the power and importance of community support in times of such unfathomable loss. It feels like a call to action against the horrible trend of gun violence affecting so many families. Her family, friends, and children deserve answers and justice. Here’s hoping that the ongoing investigation brings some much-needed clarity and resolution. Anyone else been keeping up with the developments? What are your thoughts? ?
