Seeing the tragic loss of Jamartre Sanders and Bryson Haskell is just devastating. I can't imagine the pain their families must be enduring right now. What's got me thinking is why the Royal Cigar & Tobacco shop was open that late in the first place. I know the area is quite bustling at night, especially with the student crowd from the University of Minnesota nearby. But it makes me wonder if stricter licensing and operating hours might help prevent such violent incidents in the future. Hopefully, city officials take this situation seriously and enforce better regulations to protect the community. It breaks my heart to see young lives caught up and lost in violence like this. I'm keeping their loved ones in my thoughts and hoping for meaningful change.
