Did anyone else read about how Patrick Roers' family described him as a "gentle giant" and likened him to Chris Stapleton? That really hit me. It paints such a vivid picture of who he was as a person—someone so warm and genuine. The world needs more people like Patrick, not fewer. I can't help but think about his family and the pain they’re experiencing right now. It's hard to fathom the loss they’re dealing with, losing someone who brought so much light to their lives and the lives of those around him. I’ve been following the discussions about the tragic events at the Super 8 hotel in Cloquet, and my heart goes out to the families and friends of Patrick Roers and Shellby Trettel. I’ve read stories of people coming together to memorialize both Patrick and Shellby, and it’s clear they were well-loved by those around them. Patrick’s sister shared how he could always make people smile, and I think this collective effort to support each other is a testament to the impact they both had on their communities.
