I can't stop thinking about Dwight's mother, Natashia Daniels, and the pain she must be going through. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to endure, especially in such a violent manner. It’s hit home for me how important community support is during times like this—not just for the immediate family but for everyone affected by gun violence. I know the Minneapolis PD is doing all they can, but it feels like we, as a community, need to step up and support each other more. Perhaps we need to look at organizing more community forums, where people can safely speak out about what they know or discuss concerns about the escalating gun violence. Also, I’m wondering if anyone else thinks that the gun found in Dwight's lap complicates things in any way? Does anyone have insight into how this might impact the investigation or what it could mean for understanding the events of that night? If there’s anything I can do to help, even if it's just spreading the word about CrimeStoppers, count me in. We owe it to Dwight and Natashia to find justice and make our neighborhoods safer.
