I’ve been following Erik Allen Berger’s case and can’t stop thinking about the tight-knit car community that he was such a big part of. As someone who’s attended a few meets at the AutoMotorPlex, I can attest to how much camaraderie and shared passion binds car enthusiasts together. It must be incredibly difficult for everyone who knew Erik to come to terms with this tragedy. From what I've read, he wasn't just admired for his impressive collection of vintage BMWs but also deeply respected for his willingness to lend a hand and share his knowledge. Losing someone who played such an integral role in a community is always tough, but I hope the shared memories of Erik’s kindness and enthusiasm can offer some comfort to all who are grieving. If any members of the local car scene are here, just know that my thoughts are with you. I can’t imagine how impactful and confusing this must all feel. ?
