Did anyone else notice the timing of the threatening messages and the shooting? It seems like Roby-English was spiraling beforehand, sending those aggressive texts to his ex. Really makes me wonder about the role those messages might play in the courtroom. Maybe they’ll use them to establish his mental state or premeditation? I can't imagine what the woman must be going through, knowing someone she once cared for could be capable of such violence. My heart goes out to all those affected by this tragedy. It's a painful reminder of how quickly things can change. Stay safe, everyone.

I keep thinking about the bravery of Toumai's friend who was an unwilling witness to such a devastating moment. Being in the car when someone you trust is suddenly targeted in such a violent way must be incredibly traumatizing. I can't even imagine the fear and shock she must have felt when the gunfire started. It’s terrifying how someone she used to know and once felt safe with turned into a threat. My thoughts are really with her as she tries to heal from this experience. I hope she has a strong support system around her, and that justice being served can grant her some peace of mind. Also, let’s remember Toumai, who is more than just this tragedy. His life was taken far too soon.
