Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Osben Laparra case and I recently came across some old photos of Biscayne Bay, which got me thinking about those poor divers who had to search for the additional bags. I can't even imagine how distressing it must've been for them, having to recover evidence and knowing the gravity of what they were involved in. It's easy to forget about the impact these cases have not just on the families, like Osben's brother, but also on the professionals involved. The scene must have been haunting for everyone at Pelican Harbor that day.
The lack of leads and answers is so frustrating, and I hope that someday soon, someone will come forward or some new evidence will come to light that can finally bring justice for Osben. It’s terrifying to think someone capable of such a crime is still out there. Sending thoughts of strength and peace to Osben’s family and anyone affected by this tragedy.
What do you guys think about the challenges divers face in cases like this? Does anyone have more insight into the procedures they follow in such grim discoveries?
Take care,

Hi everyone,
I've been following the Osben Laparra case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the cyclist who found the first bag near Pelican Harbor. Can you imagine the shock and horror they must have felt upon discovering something so terrible during what likely started out as a routine bike ride? It's unsettling to think about how these seemingly ordinary moments can lead to such dark discoveries. My heart goes out to the victim's family, especially knowing how difficult it must be to live without answers. I'm hoping that by keeping this case alive in our discussions, someone out there might remember a detail they didn't realize was important at the time. If you're from the area or were around back then, please think back—every bit of information could potentially help solve this. Thanks for reading and keeping Osben's story in your thoughts!
Stay safe, everyone.
