I can't stop thinking about the impact on Robert's family after reading the latest twist in this case. It boggles my mind how someone could be so cold-hearted, walking up to another person and ending their life like it's nothing. The fact that his shooter had the nerve to use a racial slur afterward is just unbelievable. There's so much pain here, not just for Robert's family but for the wider community affected by these senseless acts. I truly hope that justice is served swiftly and that Robert’s family finds some sense of peace amidst this chaos. It's hard not to wonder what the city of Minneapolis will do moving forward to address the roots of such violence. My heart goes out to them all.

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this case has had on the neighborhood, especially after Mayor Frey's announcement about ramping up the removal of homeless encampments. I totally understand the concern for safety and the ongoing issues with fentanyl, but I can’t help but feel torn about how these measures might affect some of the most vulnerable residents. Robert Milton Brown and Roland Scott Littleowl's deaths are just so senseless and tragic, and I think we owe it to their memories to really dig into how we approach safety and support in Minneapolis. There needs to be a focus not only on justice for the victims but also on long-term community solutions. I've been following the efforts of local groups trying to support those without housing, and it's clear that a lot of folks are trying to help in meaningful ways. Prayers and thoughts go out to the victims' families. I just hope there's room for compassion and understanding in this process and that we can come together as a community to address both the immediate issues and the underlying causes of violence in our city. What do you all think about the city council’s measures? Is this a step in the right direction?
