I've been following the case of Keair Marquis Reed, and I can't stop thinking about how the concept of a "ghost gun" played such a tragic role in this incident. It's terrifying to consider how easily accessible these untraceable firearms have become, especially for teenagers. The fact that a 9mm ghost gun was involved just raises so many questions about gun safety and legislation. It's so sad to hear about such a bright young life full of potential being cut short, and my heart goes out to his siblings and family. I can't imagine their pain, not only having to cope with the loss but knowing it was at the hands of someone Keair probably trusted. This case definitely highlights the urgent need for more robust laws regarding firearm manufacturing and access. Hoping for justice and change so that no other family has to endure this kind of loss.
