Hey everyone, I just wanted to talk a bit about the incredible work Carrie did with textiles. I never had the chance to meet her, but I’ve seen some of her creations at past art crawls, and they were truly remarkable. It's so inspiring how she could take vintage fabrics and breathe new life into them, turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Her legacy in the artistic community is undeniable, and it’s gut-wrenching to think about what we’ve lost. I read that the upcoming art crawl will honor her, which feels like a fitting tribute. It's just so hard to wrap my head around this loss, but it’s a reminder of how important it is to cherish the creators in our communities. Sending love to her family and everyone who knew her.

I can't stop thinking about the wonderful mural Carrie was working on when this terrible tragedy happened. I've visited Lowertown Lofts a few times, and you could always feel her positive energy and see her creativity pouring out through her art. I didn't know her personally, but her work spoke to many of us in the community. It’s incredibly sad that such a talented artist’s life was cut short in such a senseless way. I heard from friends who live nearby that Carrie was excited about the upcoming art crawl. It was supposed to be a big moment for her to showcase more of her work. I'm glad to hear that the community is planning to honor her during the event, but it’s such a shame she won’t be there to experience it herself. She truly made the neighborhood brighter. My heart just aches for Carrie’s family and everyone who was touched by her art and spirit. There's something very, very wrong when a person can't even create beauty in peace. Wishing her family strength and hoping we can find a way to prevent more tragedies like this.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on the impact that artists like Carrie had on their communities. Losing someone with such a vibrant spirit is a ripple that affects not just family and close friends, but the entire community. Carrie's art wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about telling stories and bringing people together. I never knew her personally, but after hearing how she used vintage materials to create beautiful art, it feels like a piece of history gets lost with her passing too. Art has this profound way of connecting us, and in participating in local events like the St. Paul fall art crawl, Carrie was an integral part of fostering that connection. It's truly uplifting to hear that the art crawl plans to honor her contributions. It’s a poignant reminder of how much she meant to the community and how her spirit will continue to inspire. Her creativity and love for her faith were clearly evident in every piece she crafted and every story she told through her work. Let's keep her in our thoughts as we discuss ways to prevent such tragedies from happening again in our towns.
