Hi everyone,
I've been following the discussion about the tragic events in Wichita, and what keeps crossing my mind is the involvement of the daycare in all this. My heart truly goes out to Vanessa Crawford's family, especially considering the kids she cared for. What a terrifying experience for that poor mother who first arrived to drop her child off. I can't even begin to imagine what she must have felt finding both Donald Eckert and Vanessa unresponsive. It's a stark reminder of how these horrific events ripple outwards, affecting not just those directly involved but everyone around them.
I also can't help but wonder about the children and families in Vanessa's care — how are they coping? Does anyone know if there’s been any community efforts to support these families, possibly to help them through this unimaginable shock? It's just so devastating thinking about innocent lives being touched by such violence.
