I've been following the Kimwa Smith case and something that's been on my mind is how important it is for communities to come together in times like this. I grew up in Florida and remember hearing about her story when it happened, and it hurts to know it's still unresolved. The thing that often gets overlooked in these discussions is the impact on local communities and how we, as community members, can support families who are going through unimaginable pain. Jacksonville, like many places, is full of people who care deeply for their neighbors. I truly believe that someone out there holds a piece of the puzzle that could help bring justice to Kimwa and her loved ones. It might be through sharing a piece of information that seems insignificant or remembering a detail that could be pivotal. If you know anyone from the area or have connections, please consider spreading the word. It’s critical that we keep these conversations going so that cases like Kimwa's aren’t forgotten. For her family’s peace of mind and to bring justice in this senseless tragedy, let’s keep talking and supporting all efforts to solve her case.
