I can't stop thinking about the vigil they held for Brianna at her high school. It’s just so hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone so young with so much potential is no longer with us. Seeing the school community come together to remember Brianna as a "bright soul" was incredibly moving. It really shows how much of an impact she had on those around her. I think it’s especially important for us to support programs that help teens navigate difficult situations without resorting to violence. Brianna's death has been a huge wake-up call for many of us about the lasting effects of gun violence. My heart goes out to her family and friends who have to live with this unimaginable pain. I can only hope that they find some comfort in the love and support the community has shown. For anyone else who has been struggling with the news, how have you been coping?
