Does anyone have more details about the relationship between Daryl and Mercedes? It’s so unsettling to think that a verbal dispute could take such a tragic turn. From what I’ve gathered, they knew each other, but it's unclear just how well. Hearing that Daryl was described as a protector and caring individual makes this whole situation even more confusing and sad. It's hard to imagine what could have pushed things to the breaking point. My thoughts are with Daryl's family, especially his child. I hope his loved ones find some peace in the tributes that capture the kind of person he was. It's also troubling to see yet another incident adding to the growing number of shootings in Wichita. I really hope discussions about how to prevent these tragedies happen soon—this community has been through too much already.
