It’s truly distressing to imagine what Megan’s family and especially her young sons must be going through right now. Losing someone so young and vibrant is unimaginable. I came across some info about Corey Etienne’s past, and it’s shocking that someone with such a violent history was still out there. It just brings up so many questions about how he managed to evade more severe penalties in the past. Why was he not watched more closely? If he had been, maybe Megan would still be here today. The system seems to have overlooked some major red flags. I really hope Megan's family receives the justice they deserve, and that this case shines a light on how previous violent behaviors need to be taken more seriously to prevent tragedies like this.
