I've been reflecting a lot on the impact Cedric had on our community, and it truly hits hard to realize how much we've lost. I remember him from the community events and block parties where he was always so involved and genuinely cared about everyone around him. What really stands out to me is how he had that unique ability to bring people together, to foster a sense of belonging and unity. It's rare to find someone who can touch so many lives in such meaningful ways. With the news of the young suspect, I can't help but feel a mixture of emotions. It's devastating to think about the path of destruction that led to this senseless act. And while nothing can undo the pain Cedric's family and friends are enduring, I hope we, as a community, come together and support each other the way Cedric would have wanted. Has anyone heard if there are plans for a community gathering in his memory? I think it could be a powerful way to honor him and continue his legacy of bringing people together.
