Does anyone else find it incredibly moving how the River Ridge community has stepped forward to commemorate Jordan Drashon Butler’s life? I was touched when I read about how his friends and family were lighting virtual candles for him on the National Gun Violence Memorial website. It’s acts like these that can really show how a community comes together in the face of such loss. I can only imagine the pain his parents, Jarmar and Shondraka, are going through. It's heartening to see the support they're receiving from both near and far. In such a tragic time, finding ways to remember and honor Jordan’s life has to be a small light. Whether it's sharing stories, photos, or just keeping his memory alive in everyday conversations, these moments matter. Sending strength and love to all who knew and loved him.
