Just came across the tragic case of Lenni Douglas, and I'm really taken aback by how senseless this whole situation is. What really got my attention was that Lenni wasn't even directly involved in the fight. He was just trying to intervene and bring some peace to a heated situation. It's truly devastating to see a young life cut short, especially when they were just trying to help others. I can’t help but think about the ripple effect cases like this have. There are two other people injured, and while they're lucky to be alive, the psychological and physical scars they carry could last a lifetime. And then there's Lenni's family and friends who are left dealing with his absence. No family should have to go through this pain. I’d love to hear what others think about cases where someone innocent just trying to do the right thing gets caught in the crossfire. How do we prevent things like this from happening? Every time I hear about a victim like Lenni, it just makes me wish our communities had more support systems in place to deal with conflicts before they escalate. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to his family.
