I’ve been following this case closely and something that’s been on my mind a lot is the bravery of the 911 callers on that tragic night. It must have been terrifying to hear those gunshots and know that something horrible was happening right outside their homes. They acted quickly and got law enforcement on the scene, which was crucial. I can’t imagine how traumatic it must have been to witness that and then make those calls. Their actions may have helped save Andre’s and Nicholas’s lives by getting medical help to them as quickly as possible. But I also remember that a young father and fiancé, Gerard Wilson Jr., was already gone by the time officers arrived. My heart goes out to the entire community of Sulphur who are undoubtedly feeling the loss and fear from such a violent event. If there’s anyone out there with information, let’s hope they come forward. Gerard’s family, especially his young son, deserves justice.

I've been following the case of Gerard Wilson Jr., and I can't stop thinking about his poor fiancé, Nikitta Bellow, and their little son, Maverick. It's just unfathomable what she's going through, having to explain to their child that his dad isn't coming back. I can't even imagine the pain the whole family is feeling right now. It's such a tragic situation, and it breaks me to think that this little boy has to grow up without his father.
I really hope the community comes together to support them and that justice is served for Gerard. I've seen cases like this where the community holds fundraisers and vigils; maybe something like that could help show support and ease some of their immediate burdens.
If anyone has information about what we can do to help or if there are any memorial funds or events, please share them here. It's important we rally around them during this difficult time.

Hey everyone,
I can’t stop thinking about how deeply this has impacted Gerard's family, especially his little boy Maverick. Growing up without a parent is incredibly tough, and it breaks my heart to think of a child experiencing that. I've been following this case since it first happened, and the outpouring of support for Gerard’s family is truly touching. It’s amazing how a community can come together in such tragic times.
Has anyone seen updates or heard anything new about how the family is holding up or if there are any fundraisers or memorials planned? I’d really like to help somehow, but I'm outside of Sulphur, so anything online would be perfect. Let’s keep sharing any info that might lead to more justice and peace for Gerard and his loved ones.
