I can't stop thinking about Melvin's children, Melo and Meloni. It's incredibly sad to imagine them growing up without their father. I hope they have a strong support system to guide them through the years to come. They deserve to be able to hold onto the best memories of their dad and know how much he loved them.
Does anyone know if there are any community initiatives or fundraisers set up to support the kids? I hope that there are people rallying around to provide them with as much stability as possible. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Cullins family. ?

Has anyone else been following Melo's case closely? I'm struck by how interconnected New Orleans communities can be. It's clear he had a lot of people who cared about him deeply. I noticed that his close friend, Walmecka "MeMe" Lee, is mentioned in several posts. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for her and everyone who knew him well. It’s worth considering how tightly knit groups can be, and how something like this ripples through everyone's lives. So much pain left in the wake of tragedy. Hoping for justice and peace for his loved ones. Thoughts and prayers go out to them. Does anyone know if his family has said anything about community support or memorial events?
