Hey everyone, I just heard about the passing of Adlai Kenneth Lewis Sr., or "Boo-By" as he was fondly called. The whole situation has left me thinking about how important community support is during times like these. It's been almost impossible to imagine what his family and friends must be going through right now. Knowing that he was so loved and respected in New Iberia really shows how much this tragedy has shaken the community. I also wanted to talk about how quickly law enforcement managed to identify and arrest a suspect. It's a reminder that while we often discuss what goes wrong in these cases, it's just as important to acknowledge when things go right. These officers worked hard to seek justice for Boo-By, and hopefully, this is the first step toward some peace for his loved ones. Keeping everyone in my thoughts.
