Has anyone else noticed the increase in gun violence in the Hollygrove area recently? Brennan Mitchell's tragic death is another reminder of how urgent the need for change is. It's alarming how such a vibrant community has become overshadowed by these senseless acts. I've lived in New Orleans for over a decade and have seen firsthand the resilience of our neighborhoods. Still, it feels like we need more than just law enforcement to tackle this issue. Community engagement, educational outreach, anything to curb this cycle of violence—it's time we all come together to find a solution. My heart goes out to Brennan's family and friends.
