Hey everyone, I've been following the Frances Collett Apperson case, and something that really stands out to me is the angel figurine found along the trail. It seems like such a personal item, and it's odd that it was found both in her car and on the hiking trail. Does anyone else think it might hold some significance? Maybe a way to mark a path or leave a message? Or was it just something she took with her for comfort? It's hard not to wonder if this little detail might be a clue to understanding what happened to her. Thoughts?

Has anyone else looked into the significance of the angel figurine found in Frances Collett Apperson’s car and also along the Linville Gorge trail? I can't help but wonder if it’s somehow connected to her disappearance. The fact that the same figurine was found both in her vehicle and on the trail makes me think it might hold a deeper meaning. Did her family mention if Frances had any particular attachment to angel figures? If so, maybe it was intentionally left as a sign or a message. It’s a haunting detail in the search for her. Anyone else have thoughts on this or similar experiences in other missing persons cases?
