I've been following the tragic case of Kenderick Jarmon and can't stop thinking about the scene after the shooting. It's so distressing to imagine that poor young man running to a neighbor's backyard, possibly seeking safety or help, only to collapse there. My heart goes out to everyone involved, especially the neighbors who witnessed such a traumatic event. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt, not to mention the overwhelming grief his family must be experiencing right now.
I really hope that law enforcement is doing everything possible to get those responsible off the streets. It's baffling that we still don't have any leads or suspects. It's unsettling to think about how easily life was taken away from Kenderick at such a young age.
