I’ve been following the incident on Milam Street, and my heart goes out to Trevion J. Marshall’s family and friends. I can’t even imagine the pain they are experiencing right now. What alarms me is how someone like Shontravious Rogers, with a history that prohibits him from having a firearm, was apparently able to get a hold of one. It raises some serious questions about how effective the current measures are in preventing felons from gaining access to weapons. It's disconcerting to think that someone labeled as armed and dangerous is still on the run. I hope local authorities can track him down swiftly and safely to prevent any more potential harm. If anyone in the community has seen anything, please consider reaching out to law enforcement. It’s hard to believe that Trevion’s life was just starting, and now we’re left hoping for justice in what has become an all-too-common reality.

Has anyone else been following the case of Trevion J. Marshall's murder in Shreveport? I can't stop thinking about how it must feel for his family, especially knowing this is the 33rd homicide in Caddo Parish this year. Just awful. I read that a resident flagged down an ambulance while it was passing by, which really highlights how terrifying and immediate the whole situation must have been. I can't imagine witnessing something so traumatic right in my own neighborhood. The authorities believe Shontravious Rogers is involved, and knowing he's still at large just adds to the tension. To the community in Shreveport, stay alert, and please report anything you see to law enforcement. Hoping for justice and peace for Trevion's family and loved ones in this incredibly difficult time.
