Lark's tragic passing has truly shaken our community. What's really been on my mind lately is how this case has brought to light the strength and dedication of the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office, particularly Detective Chad Cassard. From what I've gathered, he has put in an incredible amount of work to get justice for Lark and his family. This kind of commitment deserves recognition. Lark’s friends and family must find some solace in knowing the investigators are taking this so seriously. Considering the speed with which they identified and apprehended Blackledge with the help of the Louisiana State Police UAS team, it’s clear they were on top of things from the start. In such a painful time, I hope the community's support and the diligence of law enforcement can bring a bit of comfort to all those who loved Lark. Thoughts?

It's really unsettling to think about how Lark Starnes, someone who was clearly a beloved member of the Bogalusa community, met such a tragic end. I can't help but wonder about the timeline between when he was discovered and how quickly Clois Blackledge became a person of interest. It makes me speculate whether there was any prior connection or history between them. Did they have disputes before? Were there any signs that this could escalate? Lark's contributions as a handyman who was always ready to lend a hand seem to have left a big impact. It's comforting to know that the community is rallying around his family during such a difficult time. I hope they find some peace in knowing how much he was valued. Anyone else have thoughts or insights on the relationship between Starnes and Blackledge? Or how the authorities zeroed in on Blackledge so swiftly?
