I can only imagine the sorrow they must be feeling. Communities have such tight-knit bonds, especially in small towns like Newellton, and losing someone as young and vibrant as Antasia leaves a massive void. Churches often act as a support system during times of such loss, and I truly hope that the love and comfort from her church community help her family to bear the immense loss. Let this be a call to all of us to cherish and support the young people in our communities and work towards a safer environment for them. It's unfathomable that a life so full of potential was ended abruptly. My heart goes out to everyone mourning Antasia and to all affected by the scourge of gun violence.
