I can’t stop thinking about how close this tragedy was to Rosenwald Preschool. It must have been terrifying for those little ones and their teachers during the lockdown. My heart goes out to the parents of the preschoolers—I can only imagine the panic they felt when they heard about the incident. It's so scary to think about the ripple effects of gun violence. Hoping that the investigation yields answers soon and brings some peace to all who were impacted by this. If anyone has heard updates or has more info on this aspect, please share. Let's keep looking out for each other.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Travez Washington, and one thing that really strikes me is the sheer impact it had on the community, especially with the nearby Rosenwald Preschool going into lockdown. I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for the little ones and their teachers, to know something so violent happened so close to them. It’s moments like these that remind us how interconnected we are and how events can ripple through a community, affecting so many innocent lives – including those not directly involved.
I hope for the sake of Travez's family and everyone affected, that the police will find whoever is responsible. It’s hard to think of something like this happening in broad daylight and the perpetrator still being at large. If anyone knows something, no matter how small, please step forward and help give this family some peace.
Sending strength and prayers to Travez's loved ones.
I can't stop thinking about the terrifying situation at Rosenwald Preschool during the shooting on Dayton Street. Imagining the fear those little kids must have felt breaks my heart, especially with a tragedy unfolding so close. I hope the teachers managed to keep them calm during the lockdown. It's scary to think how gun violence doesn't just affect the immediate victims but sends ripples through the entire community. My thoughts are with Travez Washington’s family and everyone in the vicinity who was impacted by this senseless act. We really need to come together to support the community and push for meaningful change. Has anyone heard if the school is doing anything to help the kids process what happened?
