I've been following the tragic case of Mya Alexis Bingham, and it's just so painful to think about someone so young having their life cut short. One aspect that caught my attention was the community's reaction. It's really moving to see how people in Houma have come together to support Mya's family. The virtual candles on the National Gun Violence Memorial are such a touching tribute. I think these gestures are important not just for remembering Mya but also for highlighting the ongoing issue of gun violence in our communities. It makes me wonder how we can all contribute to create a safer environment. How do others in the community feel about what's happening in Houma, and are there plans for any community initiatives or discussions to address these concerns?
