I've been thinking a lot about the role of bystanders in these tragic situations, and it's just so upsetting that no one was able to intervene or call for help when things started to go wrong at the Cross Creek Apartments. I can’t imagine what Terrence’s loved ones are going through, knowing that this senseless act happened when he was just trying to do the right thing for his child. It really makes you wonder about community responsibility and how we can better support each other to prevent these outcomes. We can't bring Terrence back, but maybe raising our voices together can prevent this from happening to someone else. ? Sending love to his family, especially his kids—Amerey, Jaiden, and Merrick, who’ve lost their father way too soon.

I'm just sitting here thinking about Terrence's kids—Amerey, Jaiden, and Merrick. I can't even begin to imagine the void this has left in their lives. Losing a parent at such a young age is an unimaginable burden for anyone to bear, let alone children. They must be so confused, trying to grasp why something so tragic happened to someone who loved them so deeply. It's heartbreaking to see how gun violence doesn't just take away lives but also shatters families and futures. I hope they have a strong support system to help them through this. Does anyone know if there are any fundraisers or community efforts in place to support his kids? They’re going to need all the love and care they can get from those around them.
