Has anyone else been thinking about the impact of the "Bubbles" case on the Covington community? First off, my heart goes out to her family and friends, especially to Dionne. It's unimaginable to lose such a strong and lively person in this way. But it seems like this tragedy has raised an important issue about how much we really know our neighborhoods.
The fact that the Covington Police don’t think the shooting was random suggests there's more going on beneath the surface. It makes you wonder about the dynamics on Wheeler Street. Was there any local tension, or did Bubbles know the shooter? The community's input could be crucial here. I think more people should come forward if they know anything. Even the smallest piece of information could help put the puzzle together. Doesn’t it make you think about how crucial community involvement is in situations like these?
Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Laverne "Bubbles" Wilson, and I can’t shake off this feeling of sorrow for her family and friends. Her passing really hit the community hard, especially since she was someone who radiated so much positivity even while fighting cancer. It’s awful to think that someone so full of life was taken in such a violent way.
What stands out to me is how the police have mentioned that the shooting doesn’t appear to be random. This makes me think there might be more to this story than we've been told. It's important for anyone in the area or who might've seen something on that terrible day to come forward. It could really help bring some closure to her loved ones.
I can’t imagine what her family is going through, especially her kids. The least we can do is keep this story active, share any information, and hope that justice will eventually be served. Thank you to anyone who’s already reached out to the detectives or offered support to the family.
Take care, everyone, and hold your loved ones close.
