I've been following this tragic case, and my heart goes out to all those affected, especially the families of the victims. I wanted to focus on Thomas Elliott's role as a mentor. It's clear that he was more than just a senior vice president at the bank; he was a guiding light for many, including Governor Andy Beshear. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for the governor to lose someone he considered not just a professional ally but a personal friend.
It's in times like these that we have to remember the personal connections lost alongside the tragic loss of life. Those who knew Thomas have repeatedly mentioned his ability to inspire and lead. His contributions were not just professional but deeply personal, and the stories shared by those who worked with him highlight his unwavering support and wisdom.

I came across some discussions about how Connor Sturgeon livestreamed the terrible incident. It's deeply upsetting to think about the disregard for human life and the trauma it caused survivors and victims' families. It's important to recognize the emotional toll on those who witnessed it virtually, not just the people who were physically present. I can't imagine how this has affected Thomas Elliott’s family and all the other families involved. It’s a chilling reminder of the impact of such mindless violence, not only on the immediate victims but also on everyone who witnessed it, directly or indirectly. My heart goes out to everyone affected. This has to stop. We need to be more proactive in addressing gun violence and mental health issues.
