Just been thinking about Tommy Lee Slaughter Sr. and his love of the outdoors. It's really so sad to think about how he won't be able to enjoy those days of hunting or fishing, which seemed like such a big and joyful part of his life. To anyone here who knew Tommy, my thoughts are with you all. It feels like we should honor his passion by appreciating the simple pleasures of nature that he clearly cherished. If anyone has stories or memories about the trips you've taken with him, I'd love to hear them. Sometimes sharing those kinds of memories keeps a part of someone alive. Let's remind everyone how important it is to work towards making our communities safer.
