I’ve been looking into the timeline of events leading up to Lisa’s tragic passing, and something that struck me is her strong connection to both Michigan and Kentucky. Lisa moved from Iron River to Vine Grove, and she really seemed to have embraced both communities through her interests and relationships. It’s moving to see how loved and cherished she was in both places. Her love for nature and hiking speaks volumes about the kind of person she probably was — someone who appreciated life in its simplest and most beautiful forms. It makes me wonder if any members of her hiking community might have noticed any changes in her behavior or mood lending clues to how her last days were spent. It’s deeply saddening for everyone involved, and my heart goes out to her two sons and the rest of her family. I hope they find peace and healing in sharing wonderful memories of Lisa, as she clearly touched many lives in both her hometowns. If anyone knows more about her time in Vine Grove, please share. It's important to piece together all parts of her story to get some understanding of this senseless loss.
