I've been following the case of Terrance Johnson, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Such a young life taken too soon. Something that struck me about this case is how it went from a seemingly planned fight to something much more tragic. I can’t help but wonder if there were any signs leading up to this that something more was going to happen.
Did anyone witness what escalated the situation from a fight to gunfire? It’s chilling to think that someone came prepared to take things that far. If anyone in that group knew who brought a weapon, it's crucial they speak up. Families deserve answers, and Terrance's loved ones deserve justice.
The community needs to stand strong and encourage anyone with information to come forward. I hope people feel supported to reach out to the Newport PD, whether directly or anonymously. Every little bit helps.
