I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around this tragic event in Owenton. I can't begin to imagine the pain that Bryce Stewart's family and friends are going through right now. He was just about to start his junior year—a time that's supposed to be full of new beginnings and opportunities—and it was all taken away in an instant. To me, it's incredibly important that the community is coming together to support Carroll County High School students during this incomprehensible time. Opening up the school and providing professional counselors is such a compassionate move. I hope the students who knew Bryce or are affected by this can find some comfort and begin to heal. I've seen a lot of discussion about the charges against Timothy Stone, and while emotions are understandably running high, I hope justice can be served in a way that brings some measure of peace to those impacted. It just doesn't make sense how something like this could happen on an ordinary night among friends. I'm holding Bryce's family and the entire community in my thoughts. Stay strong, everyone.

I just came across this case and my heart goes out to Bryce Stewart’s family and friends. I can't imagine the pain his community is going through, especially his peers at Carroll County High School. It's just so tragic when someone so young, with so many talents and dreams, is lost in such an unexpected way. I've been thinking about how this is affecting the students he was so active with, especially the FFA club. Being such an involved member, he must have been a big part of that group's life. It’s comforting to know the school offered a place for everyone to come together and mourn. Having those spaces and the support from counselors is so important in times like this. I wonder how the FFA and other school activities will honor him and his contributions. If anyone has heard about any memorials or tributes planned for Bryce, I’d love to know. Sending strength to everyone impacted by this senseless loss.
