I can't shake the feeling of sadness thinking about Jeron Miles and the senseless tragedy that happened on Prestwood Drive. I actually grew up near Newburg, so news like this hits close to home. It's beyond painful to see another young life cut short by violence. Jeron was only 20, just starting out in life with endless possibilities ahead of him. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now. No parent should have to bury their child. I hope the authorities get to the bottom of this swiftly and find the person responsible. Meanwhile, it's so important for the community to come together and support one another. We have to do better to protect our young people from this cycle of violence. Wishing for peace and healing for everyone touched by this incident.
