This case has been weighing heavily on my mind, and it's tragic to see another life lost to such senseless violence. I was reading about how Devon Dockery Jr. was found inside his vehicle, clearly targeted. It makes me wonder—was this a random act, or was there some motive that hasn't come to light yet? It seems like a pretty secluded spot where the shooting happened, at East 5th Street and Pemberton Street. If anyone was nearby and saw or heard anything out of the ordinary, even earlier in the day, every small detail could be critical in finding who did this. It must be incredibly painful for his loved ones to not have any closure yet, knowing the person responsible is still out there. I truly hope someone comes forward soon.
