The part about Yolan only driving short distances really got me thinking about how careful she must have been with her car insurance situation. If she was paying by the mile, perhaps she was extremely conscious of not driving more miles than necessary, which might mean she had a plan to go to the Loy Canyon Trailhead all along? It’s so puzzling that she only drove 12.5 miles. Seems like she ended up exactly where she intended, unless someone else was involved. What’s even more intriguing is Yolan's choice to leave in a nice outfit and pearls. Do people think this could suggest she trusted who she was meeting that day? Could it be someone she knew well? I hope they’re able to trace any possible connections there. It's also very strange that both her keys and phone vanished. I wonder if the car itself could hold any clues, like fingerprints or surveillance footage of it before it was found? Keeping Yolan and her family in my thoughts as they continue to search for answers.

It's intriguing to think about the detail of Yolan's car insurance paying by the mile - something I haven't seen discussed much in missing persons cases. It sounds like her movements were quite limited right around the time she disappeared. What strikes me is that her insurance report showed her car only made it 12.5 miles, fairly consistent with the drive from her home to the Loy Canyon Trailhead where her car was found. Could she have met someone there, or was she perhaps escorted by someone else? The missing phone makes this even murkier. Without that phone data, it's tough to piece together her last steps. Anyone have ideas or heard of similar cases where pay-per-mile info helped in tracing missing individuals?
