Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Patrick D. Johnson Jr. and the other young victims, and something I find concerning is the mention of doorbell footage capturing the shooting. It's great that technology can help in such situations, but it's also disturbing to think how close this violence came to regular neighborhoods. It must be terribly unsettling for the residents there, knowing this happened right outside their homes.
I wonder if there's more footage that could help identify the other suspects involved since the authorities believe at least two more people are on the loose. It's a scary thought, but I’m hopeful that with the community’s help and perhaps more tech like doorbell cams, they can bring all responsible parties to justice. My heart truly goes out to the families and friends of these young men. They deserved so much better.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Eskender Tamra and how he must have impacted the lives of his fellow students at Franklin High School. Moving from Ethiopia to pursue education shows such courage and determination, and by all accounts, he was a genuinely kind person who wanted to make a difference. It's devastating that his life was cut so short by such brutality. Witnessing a classmate's potential and dreams get shattered must be incredibly tough for the students and teachers around him. The school community's support and remembrance of Eskender will be essential as everyone tries to navigate through this painful time. Sending strength to all those affected by this senseless loss.
