Hey everyone, I've been digging into some reports about the tragic incident in Portland where Eskender Benti Tamra and two others lost their lives. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this incredibly tough time. Something that's been on my mind is the role of local community action groups. Has anyone looked into whether there are efforts or organizations in Portland working to address the surge in gun violence, especially after tragedies like this one? Sometimes, these grassroots movements can really make a difference, and I'm wondering if Eskender's community has mobilized in any way since the incident. Would love to hear if anyone's come across any news or has personal insights into local activities or memorial events being held in his honor. Thanks, and let's keep Eskender's story alive as we seek justice and healing.
