I stumbled across the recent posts about the tragic loss of Khamori Loving and wanted to share some thoughts. I was deeply moved by the vigil his family and friends held, one year after his untimely death. It must be incredibly tough for them to gather at the very place where their loved one was taken from them, yet they still come together to remember him. It speaks volumes about the strength and resilience of Khamori's loved ones.
It’s also frustrating to see that the case hasn't progressed much despite the initial investigations. It raises questions about what more can be done to support families like Khamori’s, who are left waiting for answers. If there’s one thing to take away from their vigil, it's the importance of keeping the memory of victims alive and continuing to push for justice, no matter how long it takes.
I urge anyone who might know something, even if it seems small, to come forward and help bring some closure to this mourning family. Every bit of information could be crucial.
Was anyone else moved by the vigil held for Khamori V. Loving? I came across an article about it, and it seemed like such a heartfelt gathering. It's truly commendable how his family and friends have kept his memory alive despite the pain of this past year. It must be incredibly difficult to feel like justice hasn't yet been served.
What's baffling is how these cases can remain unsolved for so long. Are there really no new leads at all? The PPB's Homicide Unit must be working diligently, but I can't imagine how frustrating it is for them too. I hope anyone with information comes forward soon. The fact that this happened just days apart from the other shooting in the same neighborhood makes you wonder what's going on in Hazelwood.
Anyone here have any insight into how investigations like these typically progress after so much time has passed?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading through some of the threads about Khamori Loving's tragic death and it’s just gut-wrenching to see that there hasn't been any progress in solving his case. What caught my attention was how close the location is to the Parkrose Adventist Health Urgent Care. It's crazy to think that this happened so close to a place meant for healing and safety. I can only imagine how the staff and people around must feel, knowing such violence struck right outside.
For the family and friends who gathered at the vigil recently, my heart goes out to you. It's difficult enough to lose a loved one, but to have no answers for so long is beyond frustrating. I hope the increased attention from community resources and platforms like ours can eventually lead to some justice for Khamori. If anyone remembers seeing anything that night near NE 122nd Avenue and Wasco Street, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.
Kudos to the detectives who are working this case. I know it can't be easy, but we’re all hoping some lead will come up soon.
Stay safe, everyone.
